  3. FOR EXTREME SITUATIONS, EXTREME SOLUTIONS HAVE TO BE TAKEN.

In the film 127 hours Aaron had to take extremes decisions in order to survive. First we saw him drinking his own pee. This happened because he was thirst and the water he had was injured by him.
Another extreme decision he had to take was to decide cutting his arm. He had no more food and water. His life time was very short, it was cut his arm or die.
Physical, mental and spiritual strong were the clues that make him survive. If one of this factors were absent or fail, these decisions wouldn’t be on his mind. Maybe he would cut his neck and provoke his dead.
If we were him we wouldn’t be so brave. Undoubtedly one of these requires would fail in us. He was very strong and positive.
We wouldn’t believe in a film camera, it was important to record what happened with him, so if he dies his family would know the situation. If we were him we would definitely pray God.

In the book Alive the most important decision was the one of eating them dead partners.

  5. After reading a news item from the newspaper “la nacion”, I'm agree with something.
The story is more interested now than thirty years ago, because the world has changed a lot.
Today we talk, and what more highlights are the values, the human spirit and friendship.

Now after 36 years, the survivors published the “snow society”, Pablo vierci’s book that meets them.

Here is a link of one of the promotional videos of the book:

In my personal opinión, since I knew about this story i just thought of buying the book.
Is a very powerful store, but that's the reason to read it, because that is the way to begin to appraise the human spirit, and skills of each.

  6. "Alive": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tugr36zvcV8 Here there is a little video about cannibalism in the miracle of los andes(1972). It is narrated by Fernando Parrado. In our opinion, the society should forgive them because they wouldn´t have survived if they refused to eat flesh. As pope John Paul II said we also forgive them.

  7. We think that this story invites us to think about the man and his ability to survive unthinkable situations. It`s amazing the power of the mind to believe, to have faith and don`t get your arms down . What happened here is something that shows us that, again, destiny is written from birth. Also the idea of eating flesh will never go through our heads. We think we wouldn´t eat flesh but this has to happen to us just to know it.
